A Festive Treat at No 60, ARC Stockton

Here at Crystlsd, we love supporting awesome cultural organisations, it's why we exist after all. So, when we were asked to help deliver a blogger and press event for arts centre, ARC Stockton’s new café bar, No 60, we jumped at the chance.

ARC is a multi-arts venue, meaning those in Stockton and the Tees Valley have access to a wide range of arts and culture activities – right on their doorstep. They recently invested in their ground-floor café bar, No 60 with support from Stockton Borough Council and Arts Council England. The all-day eatery offers a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and bistro-style evening meals, as well as festive-inspired indulgences – just in time for Christmas.

Team Crystlsd were tasked with delivering a launch event for the Festive menu, calling on our list of wonderful North East bloggers and journalists, we arranged an event to try out No 60’s delicious Christmas Afternoon Tea. Guests were treated to tasters of the Christmas Lunch menu before devouring the main event: three tiers bursting with tempting finger sandwiches; cream-filled scones, and scrummy sweets.

As if by magic, the snow began to fall thick and fast (we'd love to take credit for that added extra, but sadly we can't...) as guests chatted and enjoyed their food, offering the perfect Christmassy backdrop. Tables were adorned with traditional tartan and sparkly Christmas crackers to get everyone in the festive spirit.

Kathryn, who edits LUXE Magazine, proclaimed her love of ARC Stockton before promptly tucking in to the most succulent beef I’ve eaten in a while.

Becky, who blogs as Milk Bubble Tea, brought along her lovely mum and both were so impressed with the food that they were planning their next visit before they had even started on the Afternoon Tea.

All in all, the event was a roaring success. Happy bloggers, happy Team Crystlsd and even happier clients. Cheers to that festive spirit!
