The Tees Valley Screen programme is designed the grow the next generation of film and television talent as well as encouraging major film and television productions to shoot in the region's stunning locations.
Launching on the 26th March at Middlesbrough Town Hall the event will feature a key note speech from the Emmy and BAFTA Award winning Cat Lewis, CEO of Nine Lives Media who will talk about her journey from presenter on Radio Tees to running one of the biggest factual independent production companies in the North.
The event will also be an opportunity to find out about Northern Film + Media’s ‘Filming Friendly’ Charter from Gayle Woodruffe Northern Film + Media's Head of Production Service. The Charter aims to ensure incoming film and television production companies smoothly access locations and logistical support.
Following the launch there will an opportunity for refreshments, networking and to speak with representatives from Northern Film & Media to find out more about the Tees Valley Screen programme and how you can get involved.
